Contributing Value (¥) through Strategy, Law, Negotiation and Decision Making
Abst: Scientists and engineers make direct contributions to the corporation through solutions to technical problems.
The value of the contributions can be enhanced if the technologists have an appreciation for what makes a true difference in the future of the corporation and are able to effectively communicate with corporate management.
In these lectures we expand on the concepts of strategy, a product’s value-chain and its potential disruption, the purpose and rules surrounding intellectual property (patents and trademarks), and frameworks for conducting successful negotiations and making decisions within the organization.
Although each lecture emphasizes a different topic, they are all related to ¥.
