  • Lecture #1: “General introduction on supramolecular strategies applied to organic electronics”, February 14, 16:00-17:30 JST

In the first seminar we will go through the introduction of supramolecular chemistry strategies applied to organic electronics. The incorporation of different noncovalent interactions to p-conjugated materials will be reviewed, as well as the enhancement of the optoelectronic properties when such noncovalent forces are rationally applied.

  • Lecture #2: “Overview of hydrogen-bonded p-conjugated systems in different electronic devices”, February 14, 18:00-19:30 JST

Different examples reported in literature and by our own group regarding the application of hydrogen-bonding in several types of electronic materials will be presented. The pros and cons will be discussed and the different results found in the latest years will be compared and rationalized.

  • Lecture #3: “Exploring the role of hydrogen-bonding in organic electronics using a model system based on diketopyrrolopyrrole”, February 15, 16:00-17:30 JST

For the third seminar, a global overview of the role of hydrogen-bonding applied to a particular p-conjugated system will be shown. Multiple parameters influencing the formation of hydrogen-bonding, such as position, solubility, number and functionality will be presented.

  • Lecture #4: “Perspectives on hydrogen-bonding applied to multiple p-conjugated systems and chiral supramolecular structures”, February 15, 18:00-19:30 JST

For the last seminar, we will look at the main challenges faced by supramolecular chemistry and

hydrogen-bonding in organic electronics. The role of chirality will be explained.
